P6 Outing, 18th October 2014

Written by: Lucas Tan, Senior Sixer 2013-2014 & Guest Scribe

This Saturday, the long awaited P6 Scout Activities had finally arrived.I couldn't believe it - We, the Primary 6 Scouts have retired and it was time for our "retirement party".

What did we do? Awesome stuff. The first thing we did was - Archery. We went to Ace Archery and learnt the basic skills of archery. We even got to put our skills to the test! Aim and Draw then... Fire! With a thump, our arrows hit home. The first part was target practice. We had loads of fun attempting to shoot the bullseye! Soon, we did a little more fun game. Using the bow arrow, we had to pop some balloons. Some of us managed to pop the balloons on the first try while others took two or three. It was really great fun, having the feel of being an archer! We felt so pro.

After a hearty McDonalds lunch, we went for a few rounds of bowling. With the bowling pins in sight, we ran forward and rolled the bowling ball........ Whack! A strike! The competition was on and we tried our best to hit down as many pins as possible. Sadly, our bowling balls rolled into the gutter a number of times. Still, we had a whale of a time bonding with our friends and bowling our hearts out. It was the best experience we ever had! The Primary Sixers had a well-deserved break that was full of fun!

Arrived.. Preparing for horse-shoe..
They looked lost!!
